In a fully controlled indoor farm, climate stability is essential for achieving consistent crop performance, high yields, and year-round production. Grow-Tec’s HVAC systems are engineered to regulate and maintain the optimal growing climate for fruiting crops, while taking into account the full environmental balance inside the growing room – including lighting, CO₂ enrichment, air circulation, humidity, temperature, irrigation, and plant transpiration.

The system is designed to create precise and stable growing conditions for high-value crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and strawberries, enabling reliable indoor production independent of external weather, season, or geography.

Advanced HVAC Components for Controlled Growing Environments

Grow-Tec’s climate control solution integrates several core components:

Glycol-based chillers
The chillers operate on glycol, enabling a low dew point for efficient humidity control and dehumidification. The system is based on heat recovery technology, helping reduce energy consumption and improve the overall energy efficiency of the indoor farm.

High-capacity Air Handling Units – AHUs
Grow-Tec’s high-capacity AHUs are designed for rapid condensation and effective moisture removal from growing rooms. Fast response capabilities help maintain maximum stability of temperature and humidity, which is critical for healthy plant development, crop consistency, and disease prevention in indoor vertical farming systems.

Sensor-based climate control system
An advanced sensor-based control system continuously monitors key environmental parameters, including temperature, relative humidity, CO₂ levels, airflow, and system performance. All data is collected and logged, enabling deep analysis, reporting, performance tracking, and continuous optimization of crop-specific growing protocols.

Precision Climate Control for Year-Round Production

By synchronizing HVAC, dehumidification, airflow, lighting, and CO₂ control, Grow-Tec enables a stable and repeatable growing environment. This level of precision supports higher crop quality, improved resource efficiency, and consistent yields over time.
